Hi,
Is there any work being done on multi-user support on the same instance of Mendeley? I do know that I can log out of one account and log into another. But, I don't wish to do that especially if I have some references that I share between the two accounts.

how to change the back groud color of PDF file showing in Mendeley?
The background color for showing pdf file in Mendeley Desktop is white, which makes my eyes feel uncomfortable. I want to change the background color to other colors such as grey, but how can I make it?

OSA journal
Hi,
I've added this citation style file to my mendeley desktop:
http://www.opticsinfobase.org/submit/templates/wordwp/osa.csl
However when I use the word plug-in to set the style this error pops up:
Problem formatting citation #0
JavaScript error found: CSL error: Exception: TypeError: 'undefined' is not an object, 554, file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Mendeley%20Desktop/citeproc-js/citeproc.js
I'm not much of a programmer, and I suspect that it's a problem with the csl file. It would massively add to mendeley's utility from my perspective if it could work with this journal though.

connection refused
I try to login to my account (on Ubuntu 12.04), but I only get the "Error message: Connection refused", although the password I enter works perfectly on the Web version. Is this an internet connection problem or what? Thank you.

Editing citations done with Mendeley in endnote
Is there a possibility to edit citations (done with mendeley) in a document with endnote?
The background is that i use mendeley, but the PI`s in my group are using Endnote an they want to change the or add a citation in a document.
If this is not possible, is there a chance for it in the future?

When i drag a pdf file from the folder where i keep all my articles into mendeley, no citation key is generated. Is this a bug?

synchronise with cloud
Hello,
I had to re-install all programmes on my pc, including mendeley. My problem now is that I can see all the folders that I had created before, but they don't have the actual PDFs anymore. How can I synchronise my mendeley desktop with the cloud to get everything as it was before?

Problems w/ restore from backup: "An unknown error has occurred"; "Deleting your server data failed"
I'm having trouble restoring from a Mendeley backup. I am running Mendeley 1.9.2 on Windows 8 Professional.
I am able to successfully direct Mendeley to the backup .zip file, and it completes these steps:
"- Checking the backup files...
"- Deleting your server data..."
But then it gives me this error:
"An unknown error has occurred, Mendeley has been notified. (EID: merr-521d0e0d52cd9)"
And it adds this in red below the two bullet points I typed out above:
"- Deleting your server data failed. Try again later."
It appears that some of my server data is deleted each time, because when I restart Mendeley or do a server sync the application warns me that [large number, about 10-20% of my total collection, different each time] of my entries were deleted on the server, do I want to continue anyway? To which I say "no."
Since Mendeley has forgotten about the links to all of my files, I would really really like to restore from this backup so I can restore all of those links, which are the whole reason I use Mendeley in the first place. Please advise!

Problem with Word Plugin for Mac and Word 2011
When trying to install the Word plugin for Mac, everything goes smoothly. But when I open Word, I get the following error message every time.

Syncronization problem
when i try to syncronize my mendele desktop i am getting this message
what i can do to solve this problem
i also uninstalled and re installed the programme, but still it continues

Bug with Page Down
Sometimes Page Down suddenly stops working for no discernible reason. The problem is easily solved by scrolling a bit using another method, but the problem occurs often enough to be an annoyance.
I'm using Mendeley Desktop 1.9.2 on a computer with Windows 7 Professional SP1.

Literature Search: Bug? Issue with downloading papers
Hi,
I am excited to use your new feature Literature Search in Mendeley Desktop.
I have an issue which I need to fix I want to use this feature.
After I download papers from the search results of the Literature Search, I am not
able to save them in my library. Even after refreshing either by re-synching or by quitting and reopening Mendeley, the papers I downloaded before does not appear in the Recently Added list
nor in All Documents.
Kindly help fix this issue. Thanks much!

NO SEND CITATION OPTION IN DESKTOP
hOW DO I INSERT CITATION...THERE IS NO 'SEND CITATION TO WORD' OPTION IN DESKTOP!!! Opening a certain PDF within Mendeley causes Mendeley to freeze
In general, I have no problem opening pdfs in Mendeley. However, whenever I try to open the pdf found here [1], Mendeley freezes. I couldn't paste the results of running Mendeley with the debug options here because this form says "invalid characters found." Instead, I've posted the output from bt here [2].

Automatically update citation key
When a new file is added to Mendeley Desktop, a citation key is created using, a.o. the year. However, when the year was initially wrong and later updated, the citation key is not changed. The wrong year is still used inside the citation key. Can you update the key for all documents at once? This feature exists in JabRef under the name Magic Key Generator. Is there something similar? I don't want to change all documents by hand in the details panel.

VBA problem
I am running Mendeley 1.9.2 and it will not let me insert citations or bibliography into Microsoft Word. The error message says
"Microsoft word got an error: Cant continue run VB macro."
I have tried installing and uninstalling Mendeley and it hasn't changed anything. I have updated Word and there are no other updates I can do at the moment. How can I fix this?

citation style
I have been working on an assignment for the last few weeks and inserting referencing as per my university's requirement (citation style: Harvard - University of Australia 2011. Tonight in my Word document the whole toolbar has changed and does not give me the option to use Mendeley and the citation style I usually use (as above) has disappeared. Can you please help as my assignment is due in 2 days!

abbreviation for Journal names
I have tried different citation styles and some of them should include the name of the source (e. g. Journal of Natural products) but other ones should include the abbreviation of the souce (e. g. J. Nat. Prod.). However, this feature has not been incorporated into the styles, as it always depends on how the reference was saved. How can I control this situation with the citation styles in Mendeley?

Can't import CSL file on mac
Hi,
I'm trying to import https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/af2adb5646724c3b6b6c77ba22d7d5ad95358aaa/harvard-coventry-university.csl in to my word (for mac) but it tells me that the file 'doesn't seem to be a CSL file'.
Any ideas?
