Can see similar problems but not exactly the same. Occasionally, my mendeley desktop installation will stop importing articles that I add as pdfs files to
my watched folder. The folder is still ticked as 'watched', mendely otherwise runs fine, and I can still add entries manually.
What I tried (this time):
1) Untick watched folder. Reboot mendeley. Re-tick watched folder. Reboot mendeley. No change. Apparently this works for some people?
2) Rename folder. Change mendely configuration to point to new name. New files picked up.
However, this behaviour seems to reoccur intermittently (e.g. ~monthly) - I'm putting it here in case info helps for an eventual fix sometime? Thanks. :) Happy to provide more info.
PS: I am using mendely desktop v1.10.1 running on ubuntu. Watched folder is in an internal hard drive.
