Hi,
I'm using Word 2008 and Mendeley 1.10.1 on OS X 10.8.5, recently migrated from my previous MacBookPro in September. So my old MBP is still on 1.9.2, and everything is working fine there. Unfortunately this is the first time I'm trying the Mendeley Plugin since the migration and the update, so I'm not sure what is the main cause.
I seem to be having almost identical issues as Madeleine Ballard in the thread below. Each of the plug-in functions produce an error. http://support.mendeley.com/customer/en/portal/questions/4440795-word-for-mac-plugin-unable-to-cite-from-library-after-update?new=4440795
I tried all the tricks of uninstall/reinstalling the Word plugin, uninstall/reinstalling Mendeley Desktop; updating Word; Cmd + shift + D then setting "Feature_MacWordVBAddin" to "false" and "true" and un/reinstalling the plugin; replacing the "macWordPlugin.py" into /Applications/Mendeley Desktop.app/Contents/Resources from the DropBox link. I even went as far as uninstalling Mendeley 1.10.1, and reinstalling 1.9.2 from my old laptop, but definitely still not working.
Any insight as to what could be missing, or what can be causing those CommandErrors and TypeErrors? I will send the screencaps to support@mendeley.com. Thank you!
