I'm having trouble importing the Call Number field from Endnote; I followed the advice from another Mendeley support question, whereby I changed the Call Number field name to 'Number' in Endnote before exporting my citations (as XML files), but nothing appeared in the 'Issue' field of Mendeley as per the advice. In fact, I selected all of the possible fields in Options/Document Details, but while every other field with data in Endnote imported somewhere, Call Number was the only field that didn't import. I'm working with Book reference types in both Endnote and Mendeley. I tried changing the reference type to 'Generic' but this didn't work either. Can you help? I don't know how to batch copy all my 'call number' fields to another field in Endnote, and I don't really want to have all this info in the Tag field either in Mendeley.
