I have the same problem since a few day ago.
I have Mendeley Desktop version 1.10.1. I've tried desinstalling it, removing all references of Mendeley on the registry, removing all information in AppData/Local/Mendeley Ltd. No matter what I do, the program just crashes on start up with the error:
Sorry, Mendeley appears to have crashed.
Click 'Recover' to:
- Check and repair your local database
- Turn off Watched Folders setting
I've sent the crash report, and not, and tried recover or skip, without any luck.
The log in Mendeley Ltd/Mendeley Desktop doesn't help much:
