Problem setting up the Word plugin communication: The bound address is already in use

I have downloaded Mendeley version 1.12.1 for Windows, and I use Windows7 and the Microsoft Office 2010 package. I have succesfully downloaded Mendeley and imported all my references but when I try to install the MS Word plugin for use of Mendeley in Word I receive the error message: "There was a problem setting up Word plugin communication: The bound address is already in use". No other reference programs are installed on my computer, though earlier I had Endnote installed, so no Word is not in use with any other reference programs. What can I do to make Mendeley work with Word on my computer?
