Inserting citations into Libre Office Writer 4.0.2.2 using Mendeley 1.8.4 (on Windows 7) is PAIN FULLY slow. My paper is only 7 pages long with perhaps about 20-30 citations (biblio has not been inserted yet) and adding a new citation takes perhaps 15 seconds!
I wonder what the time would be when the document is about 50 pages long!!!!. This is a killer! I can not wait for 15-20 seconds every 2-3 lines of writing!
People have published custom VBA source code for MS Office Mendeley extension to speed it up. Can you please make the Libre Office extension source code public so we can fix it ourselves? or please fix it ASAP!
Please make the source code for libre-office extension open-source so we can fix the issues ourselves if you don't have the time to fix them.
