Mendeley crashes after backup recovery

I am using Mendeley Desktop on linux, and more specifically on Ubuntu 14.04. My PC broke and I had to reinstall the system on a new PC. I had a backup, so I copied also also the files in .local/ I cleaned the cache, just in case, and I reinstalled mendeley desktop. Now, when I launch it I get the following error Error in finalize query "database disk image is malformed" : "DELETE FROM DocumentFoldersBase WHERE documentId IN (SELECT DISTINCT documentId FROM DocumentFoldersBase LEFT OUTER JOIN Documents ON documentId = Documents.id WHERE Documents.id IS NULL)" Error in prepare query "no such column: note" : "UPDATE Documents SET note = :note WHERE id = :id" Error in prepare query "no such column: note" : "SELECT id, note FROM Documents" Error in prepare query "out of memory" : "SELECT key, value FROM Settings" Error in execute query "query not prepared" I need to recover the data base since several files are only local, not backupped on the web. Is there any way to fix this? I tried Recover but it does not work at all. Thank you Luca Formaggia
