Would you please detail the behavior of the synchronization function?
For example, now the synchronization option on my desktop is "Synchronize attached files" NOT checked. If my mendeley desktop has records A B and C while my web account has records D E and F. Now I click on the synchronize button. What would happen? Would my web account becomes ABC or my desktop records become DEF?
I did some experiments. The outcomes are very confusing. Sometimes the web account goes with my desktop. Sometimes the desktop goes with my web account. Let me describe the most confusing outcome I got: Both desktop and the web account start with record A. I remove this record from the web account so that the web account has no article. I then add record B to my desktop so that on my desktop there are A and B. Now I click on the synch button and the result is both accounts become B, which is the state of neither account before clicking on the button.
Would you please describe what exactly the synch function does when "Synchronize attached files" is NOT checked? what about when it is checked?
