When I open Mendeley it will let me either open papers, change folders, or click the file/edit/view/go/tools/help buttons. However, once I have done one or two of these things, it will not let me do anything else. For example, if I open Mendeley it immediately shows one of my sub-folders. I can then either double click on a paper within that folder to open it, or change folders. If I change folders, I can no longer click on any of the papers I see, even if I then change back to the original folder I was in. Clicking on the papers does nothing, there is no response. Nor can I then click on Help or File or anything, though I can keep changing folders as much as I want.
I am running Mendeley desktop version 1.11 on a 64 bit Windows 7 machine. I have reinstalled Mendeley once and that had no effect.
