New user - perhaps moving too quickly - added watch folder with 1000's of small technical pdf docs... a couple thousand 1 and 2 page docs that I had no desire to add to Mendeley (simply forgot the subfolder "miscellaneous" contained all of these datasheets).
Now they are just cluttering and obstructing my view. I cannot find a way, within the App, to select them all (the only thing they have in common is their physical location - that folder). There are no keyword, author, publisher, etc.. meta fields that they can be grouped by. I've tried physically moving them, such that Mendeley DT cannot find them - but they still appear in the catalog.
I am keenly wishing for a filter or selection criteria of source-directory or location (on disk) that I can delete them, but so far nothing of the sort exists (accidental pun, sort). Is there any way that a documents location can be called out or accessed? Does Mendeley treat such detail as a documents location as trivial and/or uninteresting for the user of the app? (not complaining, though I can think of a few cases, in addition to this mistake of mine, where a documents physical location should be considered relevant and be (able to be) treated as an attribute within the application.
Any advice, aside from "take yer meds" or the like? ;-)
Cheers -
Stephen
btw: I am loving the app, and the larger discipline that Mendeley presents. It's brilliant.

Is there a way to remove docs based on original source folder or location? Attributize a doc's loc?
