Hello - I'm using Mendeley Desktop 1.11 on CentOS 6.5. I really love the "Copy as Formatted Citation" feature, available via right-click on an entry.
However, whenever I paste the result, I get the error:
Error: JavaScript error found: CSL error: Exception: TypeError: Result of expression 'str.array[i]' [undefined] is not an object., 606, file:///opt/mendeleydesktop/share/mendeleydesktop/citeproc-js/citeproc.js
(This also happened under 1.10, I upgraded to 1.11 hoping it would help).
I have tried using different Citation Styles, to no effect. I have also tried opening Mendeley via:
mendeleydesktop --force-bundled-qt as suggested in a previous post on Mendeley support, but that resulted in the error:
$ ./mendeleydesktop --force-bundled-qt
Forcing bundled Qt
/opt/mendeleydesktop/bin/..//lib/mendeleydesktop/libexec/mendeleydesktop.x86_64: error while loading shared libraries: libgdbm.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I tried updating gdbm, but it is currently up-to-date in the repo I am using.
So, now I am stuck. Any suggestions so I can use that great feature again? Or, is there a way to simply display the formatted citation, so I can manually copy and paste it?
Thanks,
Matt Landis
