I notice that a number of imported citations have the url for the doi (doi.org) included. However, if you try to lookup the doi when the complete url is included in the database entry it fails. If you strip the url and only leave the numbers it works fine. I would suggest either having mendeley auto strip the url info, or alternatively strip it invisibly during search.
