LibreOffice Plugin Bug

I use Mac OS X Mountain Lion, LibreOffice. I noticed a bug in the Mendeley plugin for LibreOffice-- when inserting a citation, after selecting "Go To Mendeley", the Mendeley window does not come to the foreground. Similarly, after manually selecting Mendeley from the dock and selecting a citation to cite, Mendeley does not disappear back into the background to reveal the document being edited. This is a minor annoyance and would be acceptable if one were not using Mendeley to cite tens, hundreds of citations. The search feature seems to be just fine though. Also, people have mentioned this before: Mendeley's citation seems to be much, much slower on Mac than on Windows (my previous machine; I used Mendeley on it as well). I have heard friends complain about Mendeley taking nearly a minute to insert citations when references grew to thirty or so; that was on Microsoft Word and I can confirm that on LibreOffice the process of inserting a citation seems to be much slower than when I used it in Word on Windows. It seemed almost as if the citation happened in constant time on Windows but the process seems to time linearly increasing with number of citations on Mac, which is odd, since it doesn't make sense to switch algorithms between OS's. Thanks!
