Error in the edtition field

Hi, since the update which was somewhen last week, my girlfriend zsing a mac and me using a Windows PC are both unable to fill in more then 10 characters in the edition field of mendeley desktop. Actually we can both fill in more but it gets cut back to the 10 characters as soon as you click on a different reference. Before the update you could have a lot more characters which you sometimes need to cite right. I hope that error is already known and that you can fix the problem fast Thx for your help in advance
