Hi, I really tried to figure out to do it by myself and changing the style in in the citation editor, but for this point I didn't find a solution: I am planning on submitting my paper to the Journal of Crustacean Biology (Brill) and they have a sort of special citation style in the References: they only mention the name of a first author one, even if he/she has more than one publication, e.g.: Burton, T., B. Knott, D. Judge, P. Vercoe, and A. Brearley. 2006. Embryonic and juvenile attachment structures in Cherax cainii (Decapoda: Parastacidae): implications for maternal care. American Midland Naturalist 157: 127-136. Calman, W. T. 1911a. The Life of Crustacea: i-xvi, 1-289, text-figs. 1-85, pls. 1-32. Methuen, London. ———. 1911b. Note on a crayfish from New Guinea. Annals and Magazine of Natural History (8) 8: 366- 368. ———. and E. P. Wright. 1897. On the Crustacea. In, W. S. Green, Notes on Rockall Island and Bank, with.... So, instead of writing the name a second time, they put in these dashes (---). Can you help me on how editing a style so the dashes will show up? Or would it just be easier for me to do it manually after all? Thank for your help, Cheers, Hilke
