Add a variable to a modified citation style

I would like to modify the Harvard style to include the 'abstract' variable. I am not quite sure how to do this. The variable is in the mapped list, but I can't see how to add it from the wysiwyg screen. I can code it if necessary but would appreciate an example. Thanks
