A while ago, the contacts pane disappeared from my Mendeley desktop client. It used to be in the left bottom corner, but now there's only a list of authors. This happens with my account on different computers.
A possibly related problem is that I cannot send PDFs to contacts. I cannot drag a paper to my contacts (as the pane is missing), so only have the "Send by email..." option, which sends the reference to an email address, but does not allow the recipient to download the PDF.
Not having the contacts pane I can live with, but not being able to send PDFs is quite unfortunate.
