I am a mac user trying to import 1,000+ citations into Mendeley and am having problems everyway I try it.
1. I tried exporting the PubMed citation search as an .XML file as this seemed the most straight forward. I then select Import to Mendeley. I get a message saying 1 file imported successfully. However, the citations or file are not in my library in anyway.
2. Did the exact same thing using an .RIS file. Same problem I import and nothing
3. Tried using the "Save to Mendeley" Import button. This works pretty well except I can only save 20 at a time. Every time I try to save more than 20 as an option it shows the 200 citations but only saves 20. Also it periodically doesn't save all 20 from the page and with so many citations it is difficult to figure out which ones are being dropped
Any advice on solving this would be appreciated!!
