printable manual?
Hi,
is there anyway to download and print the entire manual, or alternatively, to read it as a proper e-book? I´m a fast reader and find it very frustrating to be slowly clicking my way through single webpages with minimal information per page.
Moreover, a pdf would be the easiest way for searching quickly by using ctrl + f and for seeing a detailed list of contents, in order to better understand the structure of the software.

Why does mendeleydesktop insist on creating a ~/Documents directory?
Running mendelydesktop on linux I find it insists on creating a ~/Documents directory at every startup, despite the fact I have instructed it to use ~/doc/ref as its collection directory.
Is this a bug? A "feature"?

Mendeley crashes when I click to enable watched folders
Mendeley was working fine with watched folders enabled. I closed it because I was done, and the next time I opened the program, it crashed when trying to import files with watched folders enabled, thus leading subsequent recovery of Mendeley to have watched folders disabled. Now, each time I try to enable watched folders, it just crashes. It seemed to have no problem with the amount of folders it was watching because that amount did not change between the time Mendeley was functioning properly and when it started crashing.
I am using Mendeley Desktop 1.10.1 on Mac OSX 10.9.1.
Any help would be appreciated.

Mendeley has mixed up details of one of my papers

See http://www.mendeley.com/profiles/klaas-van-dijk/publications/journal/#1 for the proper name and proper amount of authors.
"Greind" = Griend.
"by R Oosterhuis, R Oosterhuis, K van Dijk, K van Dijk" = wrong (both authors are named two times.
Please repair and please make sure such things will not happen in the future.

Duplicated PDF download from online storage.
Because I rename the folder that contains all documents, mendeley can not find the files. So it start downloading PDF from online, then problem shows up. Even for each entry only one document is linked, there are duplicates downloaded. Among those duplicates the only difference I see is modified time. I assume it means at least Mendeley keep all of them online that I don't want.
A maybe related problem is sometimes when mendeley sync it import some documents again and they are all duplicates. First I thought I store duplicates locally, but now they all fit the online duplicates.
I read the suggested answers find how to avoid it happens again,but still don't know how to delete the online duplicates.

Windows 2013 insertion issues
I am using windows 8.1 and Word 2013.
The plugin is in place and works however, it gives cause for concern. It takes a long time to insert (over a minute) or manually edit. It also, creates a strobe effect especially in outline - flashing menu items during the insertion process. In page view only the cursor flickers.

Hello, I have a question about editing the Citation Style. I use the Style Russian GOST 7.0.5-2008 (numeric), but some of its characteristics are not good for me. For instance, I need no the full point at the end of article titles. And - I wish the Volume and Number information were separated by point, not by comma.
I tried to edit the style in CSL editor as it was described somewhere, but failed. I need more detailed instructions.

I want to move all references in "recently added" to a folder but Mendeley hags up. Any ideas?

Friend's annotations
After uploading a file and sharing it with friends, I can't access to their annotations on my file. When I open it in the desktop, it's just my file. Am I obliged to erase my own files to have the option that saves the paper and then opens it in Mendeley?

Problem formatting citation
Hi,
I can't now add any citations to my word document. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin and mendeley desktop but to no avail. I get the following error message

Problem formatting citation: {Formatting Citation}n}
You can fix this citation by removing and re-inserting it.
However, that doesn't fix they problem. I have seen a few posts on here with users experiencing the same problems but each time the thread ends with the mendeley agent asking for them to email the world document so I don't know how to fix it.

Removing (Pre-)Highlights in PDF documents
I would like to know how I can remove highlights in a PDF-file in Mendeley that were saved in the PDF before importing it into Mendeley? It appears different and can not be right-clicked on.

All PDFs export as "untitled"
Hello,
As above—this is a new problem. Whenever I go to file-export PDF with annotations the PDF does not retain the correct title (all my files are organized by Mendeley, and renamed to Author_Title_Year, and the name in finder reflects such) and instead wants to export the PDF as "untitled.pdf." This is immensely frustrating as I have to correctly label each PDF if I wish to export. Help. Not sure why Mendeley is doing this all of a sudden.

Mendeley crash when I try to drag multi docs from one folder to another
I use the latest stable version (1.10.1). When I drag one or two files from one folder to another, it works fine. But if I select a lot of documents (i.e. hundreds) and try to drag them from one folder to another, system will lose response.
