When I click the details tab on some of my articles, the Google Scholar search will start but fail to retrieve any results. It permanently remains in a searching status and I then can't check any other articles. I've noted that there are a NUMBER of Support questions on this topic dating back to 2013. Why hasn't this yet been fixed if this is, indeed, "a known bug"?

Reuse parts of that citation in Mendeley
How can I copy a citation of a book section in Mendeley, so that I can reuse parts of that citation when I manually continue to enter additional book sections from the same anthology?

Apple Pages plugin
Hi,
I think it is really necessary a plugin for Apple Pages 5 to make Mendeley leader in the citation manager software industry. I love your product, but it is such a pity pages' users can't get the best out of it.

The "number" field for some of my citations is automatically filled with the "mendelay-groups" entry
For some reason the field "number" (see below) is being automatically filled and I am not sure how. It seems to be given the same entry as the "mendelay-groups" field (AKA. the folder name) but only for some of my citations. Further the "number" field cannot be accessed or changed as one of the 50 or so accessible fields. This entry shows up in my citations so it clearly needs to be removed.

Log in problem in ubuntu 14.04
Hi,
When I enter my email and password, I get the following error:
"There is a temporary problem connecting to Mendeley. Please try again later. Details: Connection refused."
I am being able to log in to my Mendeley account online. The problem arises if I try to log in to Mendeley Desktop.

Libreoffice plugin
I just installed Mendeley plugin in Libreoffice 4.0.4.2. I have Mendeley 1.11. It seems that the plugin is installed properly, I have all the icons in Libreoffice, like "Insert Citation", but when I click on those, nothing happens. Any idea why? I have Centos 6.5. Does it not work on it?

How to turn off "Organize my files"?
I am running version 1.11 on a mac and I am finding that even though organize my files is turned off, it persists in making additional copies of all of my pdfs in a local folder and renaming them. This is annoying for three reasons, firstly, I don't want another copy of thousands of pdfs, secondly, mendeley keeps the link to the new copy and not the old one, however, not all of my pdfs are synced online as I have too many and so some of my entries are no longer linked to a pdf. Thirdly, it means that I can't use mendeley for a good few minutes when I start it because it has lots of tasks to do to copy all of the files.
Please tell me how to stop it.

Book Chapter entries pre-populated with Book-level data?
Hello,
I would like all of the relevant data from an object (book, publisher, etc.) to be automatically entered once I select it. For instance, as soon as I select the Russell Sage Foundation as a publisher, then New York should automatically appear in the city field. This would be particularly advantageous for book chapters, for which the book-level data appears automatically once the book has been entered and selected.
Isn't that one of the benefits of relational databases?

MLA Date format
In MLA, the date format is Day Month Year, but Year is the only input field I see, and when I enter Day and Month as well as Year in the Year field, the program erases the Day and Month. I'm assuming that I'm not the first person to notice this, but I have not been able to find information on the Mendeley support page about how to fix it. With apologies for being dense, I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction. Many thanks for your help.

Mendeley Desktop not responding
My Mendeley desktop version 1.11 does not let me register or sign in. As i open the window, the window hangs within 5 seconds and goes off to 'Not Responding'. I have registered on the website though. How do I solve the issue?

Mendeley keeps crashing
I've dowloaded the latest Mendeley Desktop version to my Windows 7 today, but still haven't been able to use the program. A few seconds after I open it, it stops responding and I need to close it. I've already reinstalled the program twice and also restarted the computer. What's happening?

1.11-win32 instant crash on launch
I have just updated Mendeley desktop for Win7, to 1.11-win32, and the instant it launches, it immediately states that it is poorly and asks to post a crash report. If I click recover or skip, it then hangs at the login page until Windows asks me to close the program....any tips?
