A few days a go i had to reformat my desktop PC but fortunately i able to backup all my papers (listed in Mendeley) in PDF formats. i know that i can sync all my papers once i reinstalled the Mendeley desktop. However it takes a lot of times to re-download all the papers through the Mendeley web. Is it any convenient or manual way to update my paper list by using my back up PDF files? i really hope that all the my original folders, annotations and tags was also preserved during the manual update.
