Error message upon opening Microsoft word: 'Compile error in hidden module: Mendeley'

Hi, I get the above message whenever I open microsoft word. I then get the message again if I try to select any of the options from the drop down word mendeley plug-in menu. I am using Mendeley Desktop 1.10.1 and Microsoft Word for Mac 2011, version 14.3.8 I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the word plugin. Any recommendations? Thanks, Orlando
