Hi,
I've been writing a paper and inserting citations in APA format. Now it turns out I need it in CMS format. But when I select "Choose Citation Style" and select Chicago Manual of Style 16th Edition (note) it is a disaster. In place, in the text of the paper, it replaces the parenthetical author-year APA citation with the full CMS citation. What I want it to do is simply insert a number for the endnote, then put the full reference information at the end. Then when I try to simple insert a footnote in Word and then go to the footnote and insert a citation in Mendeley, Mendeley says it cannot put a citation in that position. What do I do to convert from APA to the numbered endnote version of CMS?
