Hi all
everytime I launch Mendeley Desktop on my laptop it appears this message:
Unable to contact Mendeley Web. Possible reasons why this may have happened:
Your proxy settings are incorrect. Go to the Connection tab in the Mendeley Desktop's settings dialog to check or change your proxy setup.
You are connected to the Internet via a public wireless network which has a login page. Click here to open mendeley.com in your browser. Enter your login details if prompted and press 'Sync' in Mendeley Desktop to continue.
I succeed in opening Mendeley Web on my browser and logging in, but it's impossible to Sync.
Moreover, I am able to insert citation on OpenOffice, but not on Microsoft Word, and on screen appear such message:
Unable to start Mendeley Desktop automatically: Unable to send HTTP request to /mendeleyDesktopInfo (even if Mendeley Desktop is already running).
I checked my proxy settings and it seems everything ok, the same for the firewall, otherwise how could I insert citation on OpenOffice with the pc set in the same way?
