Cannot use the plug-in due to "invalid procedure call or argument (5) in mendeley plug-in" pop up.

I try to run the mendeley plug-in, the following pop-up appears invalid procedure call or argument (5) in mendeley plug-in and I cannot use the plug-in. I tried to uninstall word plugin then again I installed it, still same pop up appears. I updated Mendely also. I restarted the PC as well. But still facing the same problem. Please help me out.
