In case the link doesn't work -
on inserting a "Vancouver" style citation bibliography the institute affiliations (and email contact addresses) appear in the bibliography table. These details do not appear in the citation details in Mendeley Desktop to be able to edit them out.
For example one reference appears as:-
1. Balfour-Lynn IM, Abrahamson E, Cohen G, Hartley J, King S, Parikh D, et al. BTS guidelines for the management of pleural infection in children. Thorax. Consultant in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine, Royal Brompton Hospital, Syndey St, SW3 6NP London, UK. i.balfourlynn@ic.ac.uk; 2005 Feb;60 Suppl 1:i1–21.
but using Zotero with the same reference a Vancouver citation bibliography gives (correctly):-
1. Balfour-Lynn IM, Abrahamson E, Cohen G, Hartley J, King S, Parikh D, et al. BTS guidelines for the management of pleural infection in children. Thorax. 2005 Feb;60 Suppl 1:i1–21.
I using Mac OS X (10.8.3), word for mac 2011 (latest plugin downloaded), Mendeley desktop 1.8.4
Any help?
