error (-2147417851) when trying to Inseert citation using the plugin

HI, I am working in a doc and today for the first time I have not been able to insert citations from the plugin. It gives me an error that reads "Method 'LaunchMendeley' of Object 'IPluginComServer' failed (-2147417851)in Mendeley plugin" It gives me the same error if I click refresh. I have closed Mendeley and Word several times. I had not installed the last Mendeley version, I have tried doing it but still get the error thanks David
