Lose linkage to PDF files (moving from Win7 to Ubuntu linux)

Dear all, I met a problem when trying to move my Mendeley from Windows7 OS to linux Ubuntu 12.04. Recently I begin to use linux as my working OS. So I install both the Windows7 and Ubuntu on my laptop. According to the instruction from Mendeley "How do I backup my local database". http://support.mendeley.com/customer/portal/articles/227953 I made a backup from Windows OS. Then I installed Mendeley on Ubuntu and used "restore backup--other". All the folders and files recovered as before,BUT unfortunately, the PDF files' icon in every entry is "grey", so I can't open the PDF files. I also tried other methods: 1) I checked the File Organizer (tools-options-file organizer) to let the path of "copy files to" to the same place in Windows. 2) I tried another way described in the instruction.I deleted all the contents in ~/.local/share/data/Mendeley Ltd./Mendeley Desktop/ and copied those from Windows7 in " %LOCALAPPDATA%\Mendeley Ltd.\Mendeley Desktop\". Both of the methods failed to recover the linkage of entry and PDF. I have tried to restore the library from windows7 to anther windows7 OS several months ago, when I reintalled my OS.I succeeded at that time. So I'm wondering if it is caused by the difference of Windows and Linux? Is there a instruction talking about moving the Mendeley between defferent operation systems? Please help me, so that I can read those papers on the Linux. Thanks a lot
