Is it possible for Mendeley to set up a numbered system for my in-text citations as they do in scientific journals instead of the (author, year) method? I'm not sure my question is clear so I copied and pasted a few sentence from a paper I wrote last year. As you can see below the in-text citations are a number within a bracket. And the Bibliography would be written in the corresponding numerical order instead of alphabetically. Is this something Mendeley can help me do?
All types can also occur in individuals without a family history through spontaneous mutations [1]. The disorder affects approximately 1 in every 3500 people, with no sex or ethnic bias [2]. Neurofibromatosis is characterized by neurofibromas, which are benign peripheral nerve sheath tumors [1]. According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, depending on the placement of the tumors, tumorigenesis (production of tumors) can be life threatening [3].
