I have been using the program Citation 9 from The Write Direction for years and am accustomed to being able to put citations directly into footnotes (not as inline text). I am brand new to Mendeley, more out of curiosity than commitment to use it. I have tried the Chicago Style in Mendeley and get inline citation of author, date within round brackets. In a Chicago Style footnote, should I be able to get full bibliographical information in the first footnote, the page number(s of the passage, and no brackets around the whole citation?
Thanks.
