I am using Mendeley Desktop on Mac OS X Yosemite. It used to be the case that whenever I added pdf documents to my watched folder they would appear in the Needs Review category until I clicked the Details are Correct button. However, recently, it seems that some (not all) of documents that I add to my watched folder are skipping the Needs Review category and being placed in the Unsorted category. Furthermore, the document details (title, author, etc..) that are being filled-in for the pdfs that go directly to the Unsorted category are the same across all of the files that I add at the same time. And the pdf files, of course, are not the same. This is my problem. Was there a new feature added to Mendeley Desktop that automatically extracts the metadata from pdf files, searches google scholar, fills in the document details if match is found, and then moves to the Unsorted category (if a perfect match is found in Google Scholar)? If this is the case, then it seems that there is an issue when multiple pdfs are added to the watched folder at the same time.
