Hello,
I'm a new Medeley user.
I have many pdf files located in different directories (one main directory) and subdirectories.
After adding my main directory in the "Watched Folders", Mendeley Desktop did a copy of all my pdf files in a new directory named "My Collection Data". So, I've now about 1,8 go of duplicated files ...
Is it possible to have only one directory (and subdirs) in order to avoid these duplicate files ?
I mean, is "My collection Data" can be my main directory (and its subdirs) ?
I didn't change any parameters in the "File organizer" option panel.
Is it possible to use Mendeley desktop without copying files in an other directory, for example ?
I didn't try this parameter to avoid any data loss.
I didn't use Zotero for this reason for example.
Is that files can be only "linked" ? In the detail view, all the files (complete path) are fully accessible.
Thanks
Regards
