I do not want to use the Library on my Mendeley account. How do I prevent Mendeley Desktop from uploading my pdfs there?
I do not want to upload my pdfs on my Mendeley account. I chose "Edit settings" for All documents and unticked "Synchronize attached files" (the box next to it is without the check mark) but my files keeps reappearing on my Mendeley account. Here is the test I made many times with the same results. I remove a file from my Mendeley Desktop and it disappears from my account. Or, I move it to the trash on my account and it appears in the trash bin on my Desktop. My Mendeley Desktop seems to ignore this setting. I reinstalled the software, and with no desired result.
