In my required style (MHRA), if a journal's volume spans an academic year (c.September to c.August), the date ought to be written with both years (e.g. 1997-98). So the entire reference I am trying to enter should appear:
Tom Klein, 'Apprenticing the Master: Tex Avery at Universal', Animation Journal, 6 (1997-98), 4-21.
However, Mendeley does not accept '1997-98' in the year field. Is there any known work-around for this?
