Merge duplicates bug - conflicting fields

I am deduplicating my Mendeley library having recently moved from Zotero (2000+ duplicates. I have noticed the same behaviour as this previous report. "Merge duplicates bug - conflicting fields Phillip Anderson Jan 25, 2013 12:37PM GMT" I scrolled down the list of duplicates generates, merging all those with "No conflicting fields", reaching the end having eliminated them all. On scolling back up, I notice that there were new sets which had had conflicting fields and were now classified as "no conflicting fileds". The number of sets this occurred on was large, about every 4th or 5th one and is mostly, but not exclusively related to the "date accessed" field or "tags". Oddly, if you scoll up and down repeatedly over the same set, sometimes it displays "no conflicting fields" and other times "Duplicates have conflicting fields". I have screen capture of one such example (a shot of the screen showing conflicting and one shown no conflicting fields)should you wish to investigate. It might also be useful to be able to select fileds to exclude from the duplicates matching (e.g. date accessed)and maybe automatically merge all sets with no conflicting fields rather than having to do it manually. I am using Windows 7, if that helps.
