unable to start mendely desktop automatically: unable to send HTTP request to /mendeleyDesktopInfo

Please help. Mendely desktop was doing just fine but know it is start to appear this when I click to insert a citation in word. "Mendeley Desktop is already running - click the Mendely icon in the taskbar or dock to activate it" In addition appears another window with: unable to start mendely desktop automatically: unable to send HTTP request to /mendeleyDesktopInfo please help me as soon as you can.
