No space between Patent Number and Year when citing a patent with IEEE style

Hi, when I cite a patent it's entry in the bibliography has no space between the patent number and year. So what should be something like "AA1111111 2014" or "AA1111111, 2014" comes out as "AA11111112014". I'm using the IEEE style. Thanks
