Hi,
I'm not sure if this issue has been raised already - sorry if I missed it.
I have a few referenced documents that have not been imported into Mendeley as I have used hard copies. In these instances I have manually inserted a citation in the text (there are no problems here) and then also had to manually insert the full references into the bibliography created by Mendeley from the cited sources.
This problem seems to lie in the auto update / refresh feature which removes all of my manually inserted references in the bibliography. This is extremely frustrating and I have not been able to find a solution. I do not want to turn the bibliography into plain text (Ctrl + shft + F9) as I may need to ass additional references when I get my chapter back from review.
can you please let me know if there is a way around this that doe snot involve me creating a separate list of my manual entries and then copying and pasting into the bibliography (and then presumably never opening the file on a PC with Mendeley again...)?
Thanks,
Paul
