I am a new and mostly happy Mendeley user.
I make use of watched folders, but sometimes re-organise my root folders (i.e. folders/directory structure on my hard drive where pdf's are stored). If I re-organise of change the name of these root folders I see I can click 'watched folders' and direct Mendeley to watch the new folders.
My question is: Will Mendeley keep the associated data that I have added (in Mendeley) e.g. tags/notes etc associated with the specific pdf's when the root directory has been changed?
The question is perhaps more simply posed: For a group of pdf's that are watched by associated with a certain root folder, can you simply change the path in Mendeley so that 'it watches' the same pdf's in another root folder, but keeps the same associated information for each pdf?
