I just had a new PC at work and installed Mendeley desktop. Now when I try to open a file (PDF), I get an error saying "unable to open file". There is no broken chain pictogram and I can still open my files in adobe reader through my web account, however, when clicking through the web account on "open file in mendeley desktop", I get the same error.
I recently installed Mendeley desktop in the same way on my personal laptop and had no errors.
