Mendeley doesn't start offline

I had been using Mendeley just fine until recently. I have a large database of pdf files on my computer that Mendeley has organized for me, with a lot of associated metadata (authors, journals, etc.) Now I'm moving all of this to a new computer at work, which has no internet access. I can't start Mendeley, because it requires me to log in on the website. I already tried this: http://support.mendeley.com/customer/portal/questions/111454-offline-work but it isn't working. I need some help! Otherwise all the time I have spent organizing these pdf files with Mendeley will be wasted!
