no internet connection

I have a message Unable to connect to Mendeley. Please check your network connection. Have searched your documentation, and there is nothing specifying the required network settings, Please advise the correct network settings. Happy to send you a screen shot if this helps, but it really displays nothing above or beyond the message. Use system connection settings is unchecked. Proxy type is No Proxy every other field is blank. The link to the support page is broken (error 404)
