Fix drag&drop behavior between folders (badly) [bug?]

Scenario: I want to select a (or several) entries from a collection/folder (say, "all documents" to keep it simple) and move it to another collection/folder (say, "cat papers"). As far as I can tell, drag&drop is the only way to accomplish this. Expected behavior: I drag a selected item from view "all documents" to "cat papers", release the mouse, done. The view should remain in the original "all documents" throughout. That would be consistent Mac OS X drag/drop behavior (e.g. iTunes), or, I guess, ANY operating system. Observed behavior: I drag a selected item from view "all documents" to "cat papers", release the mouse -- and then Mendeley hiccups (delay), switches the view to "cat papers" (sometimes some others) and any mouse movement causes Mendeley to select items or randomly change the folder. I'm guessing something is screwed up with releasing the mouse, when I actually release the mouse. This is bad. Very bad. - It destroys any kind of "sorting" workflow. You're usually sorting from a source ("all documents") to a destination "cat papers", but have no interest in "cat papers" per se. - It's visually very, very disorienting because the view changes without deliberate user input. - It easily causes spurious inputs (multiple selects), possibly catastrophic. I'm Mendeley 1.11, Mac OS 10.9.2. This kind of behavior is unacceptable for supposedly professional level software, and for paying users (I've been a paying user since day 1). I wish Mendeley would concentrate more on fixing the interface and adding features rather than blogging on open science and other stuff (which I appreciate; but from you guys, I want a solid product, first). I'm this close to actually going back to Bibdesk, which at least, is rock solid. Rant over.
