Multiple in-line citations with same author and year, in reverse order

Hi, I'm just curious if you could help me figure this out. I have 1 author with two papers in the same year. For example: Akay, A.E.; Sessions, J. 2007 Akay, A.E.; Yuksel, A. 2007 Now in my paper I reference the second paper first and in a later paragraph I cite the first reference but they come out in reverse order. As in, the first paragraph shows Akay et al. 2007b and the second paragraph shows Akay et al. 2007a. This is backwards since I'd like it to show a first then b, but it's assigning the subscript based on the bibliography author sorting. How can I fix this?
