Cannot get In Text Citation is Correct Order

I am using the Water Science and Technology style which should give in-text citations in order of year of publication, not author last name ie. (Wade, Calderon, et al., 2006; Stewart, Gast, et al., 2008). The in text citations are put in order of last name in word and I tried going into CSL editor but on there the setting I want is shown as already being a part of the style. I know I can manually edit one by one but is there a way to fix the style so it's actually correct. Any help would be appreciated
