Incorrect Mapping of fields between Mendeley and Citation Style Language

I began using Mendeley when I started graduate school. The interface is intuitive, but I am coming to my whits end with the extremely poor handling of citations. I use APA, a VERY common citation format. Journals format fine, however I (and I am sure many others) rely on a mix of sources. In my instance, this includes government reports and court cases. The problem is, the fields are not mapping correctly between Mendeley and the CSL structure. Mendeley and Zotero both use the same CSL definition, and Zotero format it perfectly. I don't think there is a need to list every single issue, so I will use this as an example. When I create a "Case" document type, it should be formatted "Ouachita Watch League v. Jacobs. , 463 F. 3d 1163 (11th Cir. 2006)." Instead it is formatted "463 F. 3d 1163 (11th Cir. Ouachita Watch League v. Jacobs (2006)." If there is something that I am entirely missing, I would of course be more than happy to have someone point it out to me. But as it stands, when I enter the appropriate information into the fields AS THEY ARE NAMED in Mendeley, they do not result in proper citation for almost everything except Journal Articles in APA. Since this is a question board, here is my question. Is there something I am missing, or is this a known issue with Mendeley. If the latter, is there any work toward fixing it?
