Since the most recent update (I have 1.10.3 desktop on a macbook air) when I drag a document from the unsorted category (in the middle part of the mendeley desktop window) to a particular directory (on the left of the mendeley desktop window), on releasing the trackpad to drop the document in the directory, the directory into which I dropped the document is selected. I then have to reselect the "Unsorted" directory.
