Hi,
I have 2 laptops and Mendeley is installed in both of them. I did the following:
1. In one laptop I turned off Mendeley and then deleted the mysql file, actually I deleted all the contents from that folder.
2. I then went to the other laptop and solved all the duplicates until there were none. I then synchronized several times with Mendeley’s servers
3. I then turned on the other laptop and waited until the entire database was downloaded again.
My results:
In the laptop that just had the database downloaded all the duplicates are still there while in the other laptop there are no duplicates. And both computers synchronize normally with Mendeley’s servers.
This is a bug right? Mendeley’s servers don’t collect the field of information that checks if a piece has been checked as a not duplicate. The version I have is 1.8.4
Thanks,
↧
