At several instances I find that when I reopen Mendeley, the files down loaded in a previous session are locked.
Normally I first down load a file to my desktop, rename the file with key words from title of a paper. When I have downloaded all the necessary files during a search session, I open Mendeley to insert the downloaded files using the "add file" option. After inserting the files to a particularly folder I synchronise using the "Sync"button, ensure that I find the pdf and close the folder and quit the programme. Then I trash the original file from the desktop. When I open the Medley programme at a later date I find that the pdf file is locked.
Please suggest a solution. Can it be due to the URL?
